Take a trip back in time to when young Sherlock Holmes was a student at Butterworth Academy. Young actors will love the fun action and dialogue of this intriguing mystery.

Little Women embodies the complete theatrical experience, guaranteeing a night filled with laughter, tears and a lifting of the spirit. The powerful score soars with the sounds of personal discovery, heartache and hope – the sounds of a young America finding its voice.

Come and join us down on Commercial Street for this fun fundraiser for Theatre Atchison! The Ellis Islanders will be playing traditional Octoberfest songs as well as sing-along songs from 4pm - 6pm. Traditional costuming is encouraged by not required. This event is in conjunction with Witches' Night Out.

Red, White and Tuna takes the audience through another satirical ride into the hearts and minds of the polyester-clad citizens of Texas’ third smallest town. Along with Tuna’s perennial favorites, some new Tuna denizens burst into the 4th of July Tuna High School Class Reunion. This sets the stage for a show full of fireworks and fun from the land where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.

Matilda The Musical

Matilda is the story of a young girl with extraordinary powers through her imagination. Matilda’s terrible home life and terrible school life, find her seeking refuge in library books. The stories she reads fuels her imagination which give her the strength to stand up against the cruel adults in her world and in doing so, discovers her own remarkable powers. Matilda’s bravery teaches Miss Honey and her classmates an important lesson -- that even though life can be hard, “nobody but me is gonna change my story” so “sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty.”
